As I reflect back on last summer, being in New York City was a total win. Being around peers, and working instructors was stimulating and made my time working more focused. Tobi Kahn was so supportive and encouraging. When we did gallery tours, he made me look at new artwork so that I walked away with a new intellectual experience. So much great talent; Jerry Saltz delivered a hilarious performance about the art world. He's a brilliant powerhouse. Special thanks to Keren Moscovitch for being the anchor and contact person who coordinated the residency. The outstanding mentors who gave crits week to week were Amy Myers, Andrea Champlin, and Ofri Cnaani. The experience was a blast with lasting impact.
